Now available for sale is a gorgeous, all-original Atomic Energy Commission switcher from the late 1950's. This locomotive unit has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and tested -- plus it runs like a champ! Externally, it looks great with vibrant cream and red colors as well as crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. The frame, trucks and side railings on this low mileage unit have a factory fresh appearance and the only apology is a hairline crack on one window strut -- as shown in the 11th photo above. Excluding the hairline window crack and some minor aging on the side rods, the rest of the unit is in condition 8 to 8+ -- it's a beauty!
