Now available for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, all-original 45N operating Gateman accessory from the later 1940's era. This Gateman has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and and operates flawlessly. The exterior colors are vibrant, the base is in great condition and there are barely any surface nicks or marks on the accessory. The only apology on the Gateman is at some point in the past the accessory was screwed to a layout and the screw went through the metal base as opposed to the opening created by Lionel (which can been seen in the 10th photo above, lower left). Lastly, there is absolutely no rust nor oxidation on the accessory and the figure is an original postwar figure.
Also included with the accessory are several additional items:
- Original Early Classic / Three Cities box which is complete with all interior and exterior flaps, no tape, holes nor staining and only a couple of minor tears by the fold lines.
- Original packing insert, complete and free of stains, tears and puncture holes.
- Original postwar 145C track activator, free of rust and oxidation.
- Original instructions dated July 1948, which are clean, complete and free of writing and stains.
