Now available for sale is an original dark gray 456 Coal Ramp that has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and ready to install. This impressive 35" ramp requires relatively minimal space as it can easily be set up at the end of a siding. The accessory has been tested and all features and functionality operate just as designed by Lionel. Lastly, this operator grade accessory is clean, looks great but there are some minor oxidation spots on the frame as seen in the photos above. Included with this ramp are the following components:
- Original 1951 style box.
- Complete ramp with both side cord rails complete and not broken nor snapped.
- Original 3456 functional hopper. The hopper has bar-end trucks (indicating 1952 production), but is 100% compatible with this ramp.
- Original controller that is rewired but has two minor chip on the rear of the case (see photo above).
- Many smaller components including:
- Instructions dated 1951.
- Complete packing envelope.
- Red dump bin -- including two postwar pins to be used in conjunction with the 397 coal loader.
- All four screws (two for 027 gauge and two for O gauge).
- Bag of # 206 coal, approximately 2/3 full.
