Up for sale is the hard-to-find # 415 Diesel Fueling Station. This trackside accessory has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and works just as designed by Lionel 70 years ago. The exterior colors are clean, the window inserts are original postwar inserts (and not cracked nor damaged), the side decals are in nice condition plus the diesel fuel tank is complete and not damaged nor repaired. There are some minor surface marks on the base and a couple of tiny oxidation spots just beginning, however it is still a nice and respectable base with original paint. The diesel station building is clean, complete and not damaged plus the roof is complete and has all four tabs on the bottom. Lastly, an original, undamaged # 90C controller is included with the fueling station.
Also included with the trackside building is its original box, instructions and packing envelope. The instructions are clean, not torn and correctly dated 1955. The packing envelope is also clean, complete, not torn and includes the rear flap. Finally, the box is solid, complete with all flaps, has nice side colors but there are a couple of small, minor tears by the flaps. Unfortunately the original insert is not available.
