Now available for sale is the somewhat hard-to-find # 415 Diesel Fueling Station. This trackside accessory has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and works just as designed by Lionel 70 years ago. The exterior colors are gorgeous, the window inserts are original postwar inserts (and not cracked nor damaged), the side decals are in nice condition plus the base is extremely clean and free of scratches, damage, rust and oxidation. Additionally, the roof is complete, the diesel fuel tank is clean and not damaged plus the accessory includes an original 90C controller.
Lastly, the original box, instructions and packing envelope are included with this accessory. The instructions are clean, not torn and correctly dated 1955. The packing envelope is also clean, complete, not torn and includes the rear flap. Finally, the box is gorgeous, solid as a brick, includes all internal and external flaps plus the side colors are crisp and complete. Unfortunately the original insert is not available.
