Now available for sale is the unique and somewhat rare # 413 Countdown Control Panel that was only manufactured for a single year: 1962. This controller is complete, not damaged and functions just as designed by Lionel 60 years ago. The base is nice and clean, free of rust and oxidation plus the top lettering is crisp although two of the letters in Count Down are partly worn off (as seen in the photos above).
Also included with this accessory is its original box. The box is nice and square, solid, has all internal and external flaps plus the external colors are nice and clean although there is some minor shelf wear along the edges. Lastly, the original instructions are included and correctly dated September 1962.
