Up for sale is a beautiful US Army Transport motorized unit from the mid-1950's. This locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and runs like a champ -- nice and smooth with a perfect functioning e-unit. There is no rust nor oxidation on the frame, railings nor wheels and the interior is nice and clean. One window strut has a hairline crack (not noticable unless you're right in front of the window) and the remaining windows are complete. Additionally the side lettering and graphics are crisp and complete.
Also included with this unit is its original box, instructions and a reproduction insert. The box is missing some interior flaps plus there is clear tape on the existing flaps. Finally a new reproduction insert is included as well as original postwar instructions. Overall, a clean and ready to run motorized unit that is ready to haul short freight trains around your layout.
