Now available for sale is the somewhat harder-to-find mid-1960's variation of the operating milk car with AAR trucks. This freight car is complete, not damaged and has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready to install on your layout. Externally, the freight car is is free of damage, has crisp side lettering and graphics, does not have the New 4-55 lettering on the side (indicating the correct body variation for the mid-1960's milk car) however the sides have aged and no longer a pure white but rather a creamish or off-white color. Lastly, the base and trucks are complete, free of rust and oxidation and show minimal signs of usage.
Also included with the freight car are the original instructions, original stand, original milk cans and a reproduction platform top on the stand. The instructions are nice, clean, complete and free of tears plus it is correctly dated June 1965. Additionally, the stand is complete, free of damage, does have some small paint nicks from usage but is free of rust and oxidation.
