Up for sale is the very difficult separate sale box of postwar cattle from 1957 / 1958. The oddity of this item is the actual cattle box itself -- which is the reddish-orange Late Classic box. With production of the complete 3656 cattle car and corral accessory ending in 1955 and the traditional Late Classic box style starting in 1956, this is truly a separate sale item. Additionally, this box is the unusual reddish-orange variation which is believed to be from 1957 or 1958 -- so a full two years after the cattle car and corral ended production in 1955!
The cattle in this box is in great condition, basically in near-new condition with nothing broken nor damaged. Additionally, the box itself looks great as it is nice and solid with vibrant colors but does have some minor shelf wear along two of the sides. All box flaps are present and attached plus the box is free of tape and stains. Overall, a great display item that is fairly difficult variation to locate.
