Now available for sale is the common light gray version of the searchlight extension car. This freight car has been tested and does work properly. The base, wire spool assembly and searchlight are all complete, undamaged and work exactly as designed by Lionel. There are some minor surface marks on the freight car, but still a decent looking searchlight car that is ready to work on your layout. The wire spool crank is a reproduction die-cast crank.
