Now available for sale is a New Old Stock # 3620 Rotating Searchlight car from 1956!
This rotating searchlight car from early 1956 is brand new and has never been used nor on the track! Additionally, the freight car is somewhat unusual as it has original instructions dated 12/55 and a Late Classic box -- both being hard to find. This particular searchlight car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and works perfectly. This freight car has vibrant exterior colors with crisp, complete side lettering. Lastly, the rotating searchlight lens is an original postwar lens and there are no nicks, dings nor oxidation on the freight car.
The original box has some minor shelf wear and is missing one inner flaps, but has both end and coupler flaps. Lastly, an original inspection tag is also included as well as an original insert and instructions.
