Up for sale is an extremely clean rotating searchlight car from 1952. This searchlight car has a reproduction orange searchlight cover -- which was briefly available for an early part of the production cycle. This particular freight car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operates just as designed by Lionel -- plus the searchlight lens rotates perfectly! Additionally, the on/off mechanism works properly plus the trucks are clean, the exterior colors are vibrant and the side lettering is crisp and complete.
