Here's a nice and clean, all original rotating searchlight car from the early 1950's. This searchlight car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operates just as designed by Lionel. When used on a layout, it works perfectly, but sitting if parked on a siding, it will work fine 98% of the time with some occasional sticking of the rotating lens. The on/off mechanism works properly plus the freight car has vibrant exterior colors with crisp, complete side lettering. The trucks are clean and free or rust and oxidation plus all four corner metal footsteps are still present on the freight car. Lastly, the rotating searchlight lens is an original postwar lens and there are no nicks, dings nor oxidation on the freight car.
