Up for sale is a beautiful, clean, complete and all-original Fireman and Ladder flatcar from the late 1950's. This flatcar is complete, not damaged and all small pivot points for the ladder racks, nozzles and upper ladder are complete and not nicked, chipped nor damaged. Externally, the colors are vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are in nice condition but there are some light areas throughout the flatcar. The nozzles and ladders are original postwar components as is the figure. Additionally, the light does illuminate and the black rotating cap under the red lens is present and fully functional. Lastly, the trucks and couplers are complete, free of rust and oxidation plus the car has been tested and all components work as designed by Lionel 65+ years ago.
Also included with this freight car is its original box and instructions. The instructions are clean, complete and in great condition. The box too is in nice condition with square corners, is free of tape and all internal and external flaps are present although part of the front panel is detached from the box. Overall, a very nice box that rarely shows up for sale with the flatcar.
