Up for sale is the one-year-only New York Central operating box car from 1955. This prototypical looking box car has gorgeous exterior colors with crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. The body is free of nicks, chips and cracks plus the figure is an original postwar figure. Lastly, all door guides, base, trucks and couplers are clean and free of rust and oxidation plus the operating mechanism has been tested and works fine.
Also included with this box car is the correct original Middle Classic box. The box has all flaps on one end and the opposite end is missing the end flap and has a big piece of packing tape on the exterior.
