Up for sale is a beautiful, all-original Western Pacific operating box car. This freight car has a gorgeous silver exterior with beautiful side lettering, graphics and decals. The box car is an early production item from 1952 as it has the left over staple-end trucks from 1951 plus the frame, trucks, couplers and door guides are all clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, the figure is an original postwar figure and the operating mechanism has been tested and works properly.
Also included with the freight car is a solid and decent original box, but unfortunately is missing one end flap. Otherwise the exterior colors are nice, all four interior flaps are present and it is free os writing, stains and puncture holes.
