Now available for sale is the somewhat hard-to-find 3472 milk car with aluminum side doors plus its original stand, milk cans, box & instructions. The freight car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready to run on your layout or proudly displayed in your train collection. The exterior color is clean, the side lettering and graphics are crisp and clean plus the base, trucks and wheels are free or rust and oxidation. The refrigerator car also includes a set of seven postwar milk cans plus an original postwar platform that is in nice condition and includes an original top platform.
Lastly, the correct instructions (dated February 1949) are included as is the correct Early Classic / Three Cities box. The box has all internal and external flaps but there is clear tape on the interior of one long end flap and a bit soft and squashed. Unfortunately, the original insert is missing.
