Now available for sale a nice and clean ore dump car from 1953. This freight car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is fully operational. The exterior paint is clean and vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are crisp and complete. Like most ore dump cars, there is some minor paint loss along the top edge from usage as well as the side dump panel. Otherwise, this ore dump car is free of rust and oxidation and is the later version with bar end trucks.
In addition to the freight car, original instructions dated 1953 are included as well as an original, undamaged # 160 dump bin, bag of # 207 coal (about half full and unfortunately the top drawstring has been removed from the cloth bag) plus the original box and insert. The box is complete with all interior and exterior flaps as well as both tuck flaps but there is clear tape on the interior of all flaps. Additionally, the original insert is complete and nothing is torn nor missing.
