Here's a nice and clean ore dump car from 1949. This freight car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is fully operational. The exterior paint is vibrant, the side lettering and graphics are nice and clean but one top edge has a bunch of paint loss as seen in the 4th photo above (top right edge). Otherwise, this ore dump car is free of rust and oxidation plus it is the earlier version with staple-end trucks.
In addition to the freight car, original instructions dated 1949 are included as well as an original, undamaged # 160 dump bin, full bag of # 207 coal (unfortunately the the drawstring has been removed from the cloth bag) plus the original box and insert. The box is a bit soft and partly squashed on one end, but still in reasonable condition. Lastly, the # 160 bakelite bin is partly speckled with tan pellets.
