Now available for sale is an extremely clean New York Central operating box car. This freight car is the 1951 version with staple-end trucks, no corner footsteps and a die-cast sliding door on each side. The exterior has clean, vibrant colors and the side lettering and graphics are crisp, complete and not faded nor worn. The box car has been tested and the operating mechanism works properly and the figure on the interior is an original postwar figure. Lastly, the trucks, frame and door guides are all clean and free of rust and oxidation.
