Now available for sale is a gorgeous, complete and all-original New York Central operating box car with its original box. The freight car has nice, clean and vibrant exterior colors with crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the box car includes an original postwar figure plus all metal components (frame, door guides & trucks) are clean and look factory fresh. This freight car includes staple end trucks, no corner steps and a pair of chemically blackened die-cast metal doors.
Also included is a gorgeous, brick-like original box complete with all interior and exterior flaps including both coupler flaps. Externally, the colors are crisp and bold with only minor signs of shelf wear. Internally, the flaps are clean and complete. Overall, a beautiful freight car that generally shows up for sale in well used condition.
