Here's a super clean New York Central operating box car. This freight car is the 1951 version with staple-end trucks, no corner footsteps and a die-cast sliding door on each side. The exterior has clean, vibrant colors and the side lettering and graphics are crisp, complete and not faded nor worn. The box car has been tested and the operating mechanism works properly and the figure on the interior is a reproduction figure. The only blemish is the frame has some smudges, which are not that bad, but the camera flash in the photo makes them look far worse than in person.
