Now available for sale is a nice and clean New York Central operating box car. This freight car is either a late 1951 or early 1952 version as it has metal doors (1951) and bar-end trucks (1952). The exterior is clean with vibrant colors while the side lettering and graphics are crisp, clean and not faded nor worn. The box car does have one apology as one catwalk end is nicked / chipped, but nothing missing (see photo 5 for a closer view of the crack). Lastly, the base, door guides and trucks are free of rust and oxidation and other than the nicked catwalk end, the remainder of the freight car is in condition 7+ or better!
