Up for sale is a gorgeous, clean and complete Santa Fe operating box car having vibrant exterior colors and clean, crisp side lettering and graphics. This box car is the final variation from 1952 as it has bar end trucks, plastic doors and no corner steps plus the instructions are dated April 1951. Lastly, the box car is not chipped, cracked nor damaged, the operating mechanism has been tested and works properly plus there is no rust nor oxidation on the freight car.
The original Middle Classic box is in nice condition with all interior and exterior flaps, nice and square and only one tuck flap having a tear -- which has been repaired with clear tape on the interior.
