Additional Comments: Up for sale is a somewhat hard box to locate, the early 1949 version of the 3464 Santa Fe operating box car. This box is the longer version with the interior coupler flaps and designed for the 1949 version of the 3464 containing metal footsteps at each corner. This box is solid, nice and square plus the exterior colors are vibrant. Internally, all flaps are present and the box is free of writing, tape and puncture holes. Overall, an extremely nice and clean box that rarely appears for sale in this condition.
