Additional Comments: Here's an original box for the Santa Fe operating box car from the early 1950's. This box is the shorter version and designed for the 3464 without corner footsteps -- so the trucks can be turned around when stored in the box. This box is solid, nice and square plus the colors are vibrant however there is some external aging and writing on the box. Additionally, one end is taped closed as it is missing one tuck flap, but all other internal and external flaps are present. Overall, a decent box that would protect any 1950 - 1952 Santa Fe 3464 operating box car.
