Up for sale is a nice and clean ore dump car from the first year of production: 1946. This freight car is the rare silver or aluminum variation that has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is fully operational. The exterior has vibrant colors along with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics. There are a handful of small surface marks on the bin interior from usage, but externally, the paint and lettering is flawless. Lastly, this ore dump car is free of rust and oxidation plus nothing is broken or damaged and its overall condition is close to an 8!
In addition to the freight car, original instructions dated 1946 are included as well as an original, undamaged # 160 dump bin, full bag of # 207 coal plus the original box and insert. The Art Deco box is solid although it is missing all flaps on one end plus the insert is complete and not torn. The # 160 bakelite bin is complete and not cracked nor damaged.
