Up for sale is a beautiful and fully functional log dump car from the mid-1940's. This freight car has gorgeous exterior colors, crisp and clean side lettering plus it has the more common heat-stamped lettering. Additionally, the freight car includes a lightly tan-speckled # 160 dump bin. Lastly the trucks are complete and functional plus the freight car is free of rust and oxidation and it includes at least four original wooden logs -- possibly five -- as the fifth log is a hint darker than the other four logs.
Also included with this freight car is it's original box, insert, undamaged # 160 dump bin and operating instructions. The instructions are dated May 1947 and show wear, but are complete. The original box has all internal and external flaps including both tuck flaps (and no tape on any of the flaps!). Lastly, the insert is complete and solid and the instructions are properly dated 1946.
