Up for sale is the somewhat hard-to-find 1959 variation of the 3419 with the light blue freight car body. This color variation was only available for a portion of the production cycle in 1959 and is not a common item to locate. The freight car is nice and clean, free of nicks and damage plus it has the correct wide winding mechanism -- which was only manufactured in 1959. The exterior colors are gorgeous, the side lettering is clean and crisp plus the launching mechanism has been tested and operates properly. Lastly, the helicopter is an original postwar helicopter and is complete with nothing broken nor damaged.
Finally, the original instructions and box are included. The instructions are correctly numbered 3419-43 and dated October 1959. The original box is in decent condition, but does have some shelf wear and tears along the fold lines of the flaps, but all six flaps are included on the box as well as the front perforated panel is still attached. Overall, a decent box that is usually found in poor condition.
