Now available for sale is the hard-to-find, uncatalogued Bronx Zoo Giraffe stock car -- which was only available in 1960. This freight car has gorgeous exterior colors with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the frame, trucks and couplers are clean, complete and free of rust and oxidation plus the giraffe is a postwar giraffe that is complete with nothing broken nor damaged. Lastly, the body is complete and free of nicks, chips and cracks.
Also included with the freight car are clean, complete and original instructions dated 1960. The telltale post is an original postwar pole and the correct darker color orange. The track activator clips used to activate the freight car and hold the telltale pole are also original postwar components. The only item that appear to be reproduction components are the white telltales.
