Now available for sale is a beautiful, clean, complete and fully functional Hydraulic Platform Maintenance freight car that includes the original box, instructions and much more. This freight car -- which is more commonly known as the Cop & Hobo freight car -- has the very hard-to-find teal blue body versus the more common medium blue color.
This popular action freight car has two AAR trucks, each with a functional coupler plus the exterior teal color is vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are crisp and complete. There is no damage to the body of the freight car plus all metal components are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, many other original extras are included such as:
- Original and complete instructions dated September 1962.
- Original Orange Picture box, complete with all internal and external flaps but there is some clear tape on the interior of a few flaps.
- Small brown corrugated component box containing all of the individual components for the superstructure.
- The superstructure used to hold the figures is clean, complete, straight and not bent nor damaged.
- The figures are original postwar figures.
Overall, a nice and clean freight car that will add a bit of a whimsical flair to your layout or look great in a display case.
