Up for sale is a nice and clean, all-original Pennsylvania box car from the first year of production: 1945. This particular freight car has the early flying shoe trucks -- which are complete and fully functional! The exterior colors on this freight car are vibrant, the side lettering and graphics are crisp and clean and there are no nicks, dings nor dents on the all-metal box car but there is some minor aging -- not rust nor oxidation -- on the metal door guides. Additionally, the top catwalk is complete and not bent plus this freight car has all of the metal corner steps still attached to the frame. Overall, a beautiful box car that rarely appears for sale in collector condition.
