Up for sale is a New Old Stock # 260 Illuminated Bumper from 1962!
This bumper has been tested and does illuminate properly. Externally, what you see is exactly as the bumper was packaged by a Lionel employee at their factory back in 1962. Included with this accessory is an original instruction sheet dated 1962 plus an Orange Picture box. The box is solid with nice colors and includes all interior and exterior flaps -- plus there is no tape, writing nor stains on the box, but a very tiny puncture hole where the red jewel cap makes contact with the box. Lastly, the color on the bumper is pristine and the side track screws have never been used!
