Up for sale is a nice and clean set of Anniversary passenger car set from 1950. This one-year-only set has beautiful exterior colors along with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the base and trucks are clean, the interior of each car is as clean as the exterior, the couplers function properly and there is no rust nor oxidation on the metal components. Lastly, all interior lights operate just as designed by Lionel. When viewed from the side this set appears to be in condition 7+, but below is a bit more detail regarding each of the individual cars:
- 2481 Plainfield Pullman: in addition to the details above, someone has highlighted the vestibule ends with a slightly different color of yellow paint. This can be seen in the 5th and 6th photo above.
- 2482 Westfield Pullman: in addition to the details above, there is a small hairline crack on one end -- which can be seen in the 6th photo above (middle car in the photo).
- 2483 Livingston Observation: no issues with the observation car other than the printing on each side is slightly lighter compared to the pullman passenger cars.
