Now available for sale is an absolutely gorgeous six-wheel crane car manufactured in the late 1940's. This crane car has vibrant exterior colors with clean, crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. Both handles operate properly plus the hook does raise / lower properly. The crane car has been thoroughly cleaned and tested and all functionality works as designed by Lionel plus there is nothing broken, damaged nor repaired on the freight car. Lastly, the trucks and couplers are complete and functional.
Also included with the freight car is its original box and one of the two original inserts. The box is in poor condition as all flaps are missing and it is essentiually nothing more than a sleeve for the insert. The original insert is the more complocated insert that is in great condition with nothing missing nor torn.
