Now available for sale is a clean and complete automobile boxcar made by Lionel between 1946 and 1948. It was featured in several O gauge cataloged sets, namely sets 2103W, 2115WS (1946), 2123WS in 1947, and 2133W, 2137WS and 2139W in 1948. Additionally, the freight car was also offered for separate sale in all three of these years.

Externally, this freight car has vibrant colors plus the white heat-stamping is crisp, bold, and complete. There are some light contact marks on the roof as well as some signs of use and aging. Also included with the freight car is an original 78 year old original Art Deco box from 1946 -- without the Toy Logo on the exterior -- that is solid as a brick, complete with seven and a half of its eight original flaps but with some soiling from age on the exterior. Other features of this boxcar include:
  • Painted brown exterior
  • White heat-stamped lettering
  • Brake cylinder
  • Air reservoir and triple valve on underframe
  • Staple-end trucks
  • Coil couplers
  • Regular wheels
  • Thin axles
  • Black metal ladder attached to each side
  • Lettered "61100 / CAPY. 100000 / LD. LMT . 117900 / LT. WT. 51100 NEW 3-41"
  • White PRR logo at left of door
  • "BLT 3-41"
  • Rivet below "8" in "X2458"
