Now available for sale is a beautiful, one-year-only 2456 black hopper from 1948. This hopper has the correct early staple-end trucks with coil couples, vibrant exterior colors plus clean and complete side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the body is complete, not damaged nor chipped although there are three minor surface marks in the middle of one side (see 2nd photo above for a closer picture) plus the trucks and base plate are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, the interior of the hopper is clean and free of nicks and surface marks, overall a beautiful freight car.
