Now available for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, near-new Pennsylvania / Baby Ruth box car from the 1946 / 1947 era. This freight car has the correct staple-end trucks with coil couplers as well as all four corner metal steps plus dual maroon die-cast sliding doors. The exterior colors are vibrant, the side lettering and graphics are crisp, clean and complete and there is no rust nor oxidation on the base, door guides nor trucks. The only unusual item on this box car is the missing brakewheel -- which appears to have never been installed at the factory as there is no paint loss or indication a rivet was ever mounted to the end -- as seen in the 7th photo above.
