Here's a clean, undamaged Summit observation passenger car from 1956. The red stripe passenger cars were a one-year-only option from 1956 and are not that common to locate these days. This passenger car has been thoroughly cleaned, tested and both interior lights do work properly. The car has been rewired plus the operating coupler works just as designed by Lionel. Externally, the body of the passenger car is complete and not damaged nor broken. The roof and base are in nice condition plus the side colors and lettering are in good condition. Overall condition is close to a 7, but still a very nice operator grade passenger car that is free of rust and oxidation on the trucks, couplers and base.
