Now available for sale are three beautiful blue and silver tinplate passenger cars produced in the late 1940's. Each car has the correct staple-end trucks with coil couplers, beautiful exterior colors with crisp, complete side lettering that is not faded nor worn plus both of the 2430's appear to have silver lettering while the observation has the white lettering. The roofs have some minor surface marks (probably from storage), however the sides and base are exceptionally clean (the sides and base are graded closer to condition 8 if not even 8+). Lastly, the trucks and couplers are all complete, functional and free of rust and oxidation.
Please note: like most tinplate passenger cars from this era, the original interior plastic window strips have deteriorated and are no longer in the windows, however clear replacement inserts have been installed.
