Up for sale is a clean, all-original four car Santa Fe blue stripe passenger set with original boxes. This set consists of a pair of 2412 vista dome passenger cars, a 2414 pullman and the 2416 observation at the end. Additionally, original boxes are provided for each passenger car. Lastly, this set was purchased form the original owner who purchased the cars separately in the early 1960's and not part of a boxed set.
All four passenger cars have clean exterior colors with crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. Other than one passenger having a tiny chip at the top of the roof line (as seen in the 8th photo above), each passenger car is close to condition 7+. Externally, the cars look great and the trucks are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Internally, two of the passenger cars have moisture oxidation on the interior base -- which cannot be seen unless the roof is removed.
Finally, original boxes are included for each passenger car. The boxes are in decent condition and most flaps are included within each box, but several interior coupler flaps are missing and most flaps have clear tape on the interior. Overall grade of the passenger car boxes are in the area of a 7 to 7+.
