Here's a clean, all-original 2401 Hillside Observation passenger car. This popular green and yellow passenger car is from the 1948 / 1949 era and has been re-wired so all of the lights operate properly. Additionally, the trucks and couplers are complete and functional, there is no rust on the interior nor exterior plus the exterior green is bright and vibrant and the side lettering is crisp and complete. Lastly, there is nothing broken, nicked nor chipped on the body however there is some minor paint loss on the end by the center vestibule area (see the 6th photo above). Overall, a very nice and clean passenger car.
Note: The clear rear lens in the roof of the passenger car (5th photo above) appears as though the lens is disfigured or improperly installed. That is not the case, it's simply a reflection of the light in the photo, the lens is complete and properly installed.
