Up for sale is a nice and clean set of original Southern F3 AA diesels. Each diesel unit has vibrant colors, crisp and complete side lettering plus original decals and porthole lens. Internally, the units are just as nice and clean as the exterior plus each diesel has been tested and operates just as designed 70+ years ago. Lastly, there is nothing broken, cracked nor damaged on either shell and no signs of rust nor oxidation.
The only apology to note is some minor touch-up along the top roof line on each diesel as well as a couple of random locations on the side ventilators. It appears the touch-up was done with a green marker that was close -- but not an exact match to the original color green. When viewed from 24"+, the touch-up is not too noticeable and the units actually appear to be in condition 7. Overall, a great looking operator grade diesel set for someone looking to purchase a clean, affordable and all-original set of postwar Southern F3 AA diesels.
