Now available for sale is a beautiful, all-original New York Central F3 B unit diesel from the mid-1950's. This F3 center unit is the later production version with the molded roof louvers. Externally, the unit looks perfect, the two-tone gray is pristine and the side lettering, graphics and colors are crisp and complete with no signs of wear. The side porthole lens are original postwar production components plus the base is clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, all four metal corner footsteps are present and there are no nicks, chips nor cracks on the body.
