Now available for sale is a nice and clean, all-original New York Central F3 B unit diesel from the mid-1950's. This F3 center unit is the later production version with the molded roof louvers. Externally, the unit has vibrant colors and side stripes as well as crisp side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the side porthole lens are original postwar production components, the base is clean and free of rust and oxidation plus all four metal corner footsteps are present. The only apology on this unit is a nick along one end roofline as seen in the 7th photo above -- otherwise the rest of the unit is in condition 7++.
