Now available for sale is a gorgeous set of New York Central F3 AA diesels from the early 1950's. Both locomotives have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality operates perfectly. Externally, the colors are beautiful plus the side lettering and graphics are clean, complete and not worn from handling. Both shells have the larger GM decal, original front decals but reproduction side porthole lens. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on either diesel and their overall condition is very close to an 8!
Note: the colors in the first two photos make it appear the units have different shades of gray -- which is not the case. The trailer unit has a hint of a gloss on the paint whereas the power unit is closer to a flat color. Most likely, the lighting in the photograph reflecting differently off of the shells implies a different color.
