Now available for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, all-original 2339 Wabash GP-7 road switcher. This near-new locomotive is somewhat hard-to-find these days as it was only manufactured for a single year: 1957. This particular diesel locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and runs like a dream! Externally, the shell on this diesel locomotive is stunning as there's barely a mark or blemish on the shell. The colors are vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are in perfect condition. Needless to say, the metal components all look factory fresh and there's not s spot of rust nor oxidation on the unit.
Also included with the road switcher is its original box and instructions. The instructions are correctly numbered 2328 and dated 1957. The original box has all interior and exterior flaps, the colors look great and five of the six sides are in perfect condition. Unfortunately, one of the longer sides has tear and poor repair -- as seen in the 14th photo above. Overall, a beautiful diesel that will look great on a layout or display case.
