Up for sale is a gorgeous -- and somewhat hard-to-find -- black and yellow variation of the 2331 Virginian FM Trainmaster locomotive. This diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ! The exterior colors are vibrant, the side lettering is complete and not faded nor worn plus the side walkways are surprisingly clean with nearly no tarnishing on the walkway. Each end does have the traditional screwhole cracks, however the interior is extremely clean and there is no rust on the battery holder. Lastly, the locomotive is free of rust and oxidation plus the interior horn has been tested with a battery and is fully functional. Overall, a beautiful locomotive that is ready for a display case or running on your railroad.
Also included with the diesel is its original box and insert. The insert is missing one tuck flap on one end and the box has a couple of minor track pin holes on the side. Otherwise, a decent and clean original box and insert.
