Up for sale is the one-year-only 2330 GG-1 from 1950 and is in near-new condition! The 2330 was Lionel's first postwar GG-1 to have dual motors and magnetraction -- and was a significant improvement in pulling power compared to Lionel's first GG-1 locomotive, the 2332. This particular GG-1 has stunning and gorgeous exterior colors with clean and complete side stripes plus perfect side and front decals. The locomotive has been fully cleaned, serviced, tested and operates just as designed by Lionel 75+ years ago. Obviously, there is no rust nor oxidation on this GG-1 electric locomotive.
Also included with this 2330 GG-1 is a complete original box with a reproduction insert. The original box is a bit soft, but has all internal and external flaps. Additionally, the insert is new, complete and solid.
