Now available for sale is the one-year-only 2330 GG-1 from 1950. This GG-1 -- the 2330 -- was Lionel's first postwar GG-1 to have dual motors and magnetraction. With the addition of these two features, it significantly improved the pulling power compared to Lionel's first GG-1 locomotive, the 2332.
This particular GG-1 has beautiful exterior colors, clean side stripes with minor wear from handling plus perfect side and front decals. The locomotive has been fully cleaned, serviced, tested and operates just as designed by Lionel 75+ years ago. Obviously, there is no rust nor oxidation on this GG-1 electric locomotive.
